When should I send out my save the dates? You should aim to send your save the dates out 6-8 months before the wedding. If you’re having a destination wedding or getting married on a holiday weekend, like July 4th or Memorial Day, you may want to send them out 8-10 months in advance.
Do you offer envelope printing? Yes, I offer both return address printing and recipient address printing. Visit my pricing guide for more information.
How much postage do I need? For invitations suites, we recommend waiting until you receive a sample of your finished invitation so the post office can weigh the piece. For simple pieces like announcements or save the dates, usually regular postage or a Forever stamp will due. Please be aware the square envelopes are an additional postage fee.
What's the difference between an escort card and a place card? An escort card is a card that informs the guest as to which table they have been assigned to. If a seating chart is created, escort cards are not needed. A place card sits at each place setting, showing where a guest sits at the table.
When should I send out my invitations? Invitations should be sent out 6-8 weeks before the wedding.
What should my RSVP date be? I recommend that your response date should be no shorter than 3-4 weeks before the wedding. This gives you enough time to tally the final count for the caterier.
Should I include my gift registry information on my wedding invitations? While you can include your registry information on your suite, we highly discourage doing so. Instead, you can include a small card with your suite with your website. On the website is where you can include a link to your registry.
How do I let guests know that the event is adults only? You can simply add an, “Adult only reception” message to the response card of your suite.
What are inner and outer envelopes? Do I really need both? Outer envelopes are an older tradition for wedding stationery. In today’s world, they’re not necessary but give your suite an extra special feel. We highly recommend using inner and outer envelopes if your wedding is very formal or black tie.
